After many years of working in children education sector, it has become increasingly clear to me that my real interests lie in children’s development and their education and guiding the very young. Nurturing a child’s development is an occupation that offer huge satisfaction ,both intellectual and emotional.

I have got a passion for creating outstanding child development. I also have a strong interpersonal skill and a natural ability to bring out the best in the people around, I like challenges.

Since I was appointed as a Principal of Walton Montessori Nursery, I have been responsible for ensuring that the entire operation of the Nursery meets the expectation of all our families. This includes promoting a healthy, safe, secure, stimulating and enriching environment for the children; The planning arrangements, the implementation of the EYFS and Montessori curriculum, keeping up with ongoing changes of curriculum or Ofsted requirements and maintaining our central ethos of providing excellent quality childcare.

My passion for delivering outstanding quality childcare is matched by that of our team of highly skilled and experienced professionals, dedicate to each child’s individual care and educational learning progress. At the same time we also welcome newly qualified staff, who can be nurtured by our senior staff or our well experienced highly qualified, mature carers. Our head chef is similarly dedicated and passionate about providing a fantastic, nutritional, well balanced seasonal menu, meeting all children’s individual dietary needs. We give children fresh and plentiful foods that we incorporate in our seasonal menus.

I have worked in Early Years now for over 15 years, seven years in the role of Manager in Private Nurseries meeting Ofsted’s high standards of care consistently. Previous to this I obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies from the University of Surrey.

I have a young family; A boy & a girl who fill my life with laughter and joy. Being a mother of two young children myself I fully appreciate the joys and difficulties of reconciling parenthood and work.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. I love going for a long walk in the woodland or join marathon walk for charities. Last year I have attended 26 miles walk for cancer research UK. Apart from this I love cooking and travelling. I have also translated children’s story book Monkey Puzzle in Bengali Language. The translated Monkey puzzle book published in 2017.

Finally, I would like to thank you for taking the time to view our website, and I do look forward to having the opportunity in meeting you and your family when you visit the nursery.
