Supporting Early Relationships and Child Development

At Walton Montessori, we are committed to delivering the highest quality of care and education during the earliest and most critical years of a child’s life. We are honoured to be taking part in several innovative pilot projects aimed at improving outcomes for babies and toddlers. These initiatives focus on strengthening relationships, deepening collaboration between professionals, and supporting children’s holistic development from birth to age two. Below is an overview of the exciting work we’re contributing to through these pilot schemes.

Nurturing Relationships Where Babies Thrive
Pilot Project for Babies Aged 0–2

We are proud to be part of a pioneering pilot project focused on nurturing healthy, secure relationships in the earliest years of life. This programme is designed to provide a thoughtful balance of research, theory, hands-on practice, reflection, and feedback. The aim is to support practitioners in enhancing the quality of their interactions with babies, fostering emotional security and well-being.

This pilot is a unique opportunity to help shape a new approach to early years practice, specifically designed for children aged 0–2 years.

Two-Year Check Review Pilot Scheme
Strengthening Collaboration for Child Development

Walton Montessori is also actively involved in the Two-Year Check Review Pilot Scheme. This initiative seeks to build stronger working relationships between healthcare and education professionals. By fostering better collaboration, we aim to enhance each child’s developmental journey through more coordinated and comprehensive support.

This pilot underscores the importance of joint responsibility in a child’s early development and promotes a shared understanding of their needs.
